On a balmy autumn night, we once again gathered to sample the black gold, this time at the Elephant pub in Cinema Place.
As usual, we were well looked after by the staff, and the pints were excellent.
Numbers were not great, at 19, but included one new member, Kevin Jenkins, taking our total to 11 new members this year, welcome all. Hope to see a great turnout at the AGM.

HISTORY
This year we celebrate our 32nd anniversary since inception.
We had our special 30th celebratory gathering to mark the occasion at The General Havelock Hotel on Tuesday 9th March 2021
It was a GREAT evening, thanks to Kaz and ‘the committee’ and of course ‘The 30th Anniversary Sub-Committee’ who put in a great deal of time and effort into ensuring that it was be a most enjoyable event. BUT in particular “Guinness Style Thanks” to Michael and Corinna and The Staff’ who made sure we felt welcome, well fed and well “Guinnessed” during the evening.
And we’ve had many great events since then

Members get to enjoy Guinness at specially discounted prices and come to monthly gatherings where there are all sorts of additional benefits (free joining-pint, free birthday-pint, and organised events such as :- Anniversary Dinners, Christmas Dinners, Whiskey Tasting, to augment the Guinness, and trips to supporting venues in wider SA.
Our 2023 AGM was held on Tuesday April 11th at The Irish Club, with the club always on the lookout for help, with the President role still vacant.
